Cathie is the founder of Earth-Energy, a consultancy firm specializing in ESG, sustainability, climate change, water governance and integrated reporting. She has over 27 years' experience in legal work, academia, company secretariat and sustainability, of which 13 years were in the listed corporate space as group company secretary and head of sustainability. Cathie is a director of the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa and a member of its Advisory Steering committee and member of the South African Integrated Reporting Committee Working Group. She is also a founding member and co-director of CoGo, Corporate Governance Network for Water Security. Cathie is passionate to find solutions to grand challenges like climate change and water scarcity.

Sianne Haldane

Chief Impact Officer, Maanch

Sianne Haldane is Chief Impact Officer at Maanch. Maanch is a London-based B Corp providing integrated technology and advisory solutions to measure, manage and report ESG & Sustainability data.

Sianne works closely with Maanch's clients on all impact related strategies, from embedding sustainability across their businesses, to developing philanthropic goals and using Maanch's tech solutions to continuously improve their impact and share their successes.

She is a strong advocate and active member of sector-wide initiatives and thought leadership and is a natural "connector", creating communities that are mutually beneficial to enable impact.

A dual qualified lawyer in the UK and in her native South Africa, she has had a career that has spanned more than 15 years across the Governance, Sustainability, Impact, CSR and Private Client space.

As a South African, Sianne's passions are biodiversity and nature and human rights.

Sianne is also a Trustee of both Mosaik Education and Save the Rhino International. She is an Advisory Board Member of the UBP Biodiversity Impact Fund, sits on the Executive Committee of the South African Chamber of Commerce and is a committee member of the STEP Global Philanthropy Advisors Special Interest Group.

Bruce Jack

Founder, Bruce Jack Wines

Bruce grew up in Cape Town, the son of a visionary architect and a brilliant musician/writer. He has been immersed in the wine industry since his youth - packing shelves in a wine shop for extra pocket money.

Later, with an MLitt degree in English Literature from The University of St Andrews, Scotland, already under his belt, he embarked on his studies in winemaking. Attaining an oenology and viticulture degree from Roseworthy Campus, University of Adelaide (being the first South African to do so) he started and sold a successful winemaking business called Flagstone (South Africa) and has been the chief winemaker for Constellation/Accolade responsible for some of the biggest new world brands.

In 2018 he began his own brand, set on delivering the best quality wines and encouraging the next generation of winemakers.

While South Africa will always be at the heart of our brand using the relationships that he has established over the years Bruce is encouraging and inspiring winemakers in Chile, Spain, Canada, the USA and soon to be in Australia.

Philip Faure

Co-founder, ReVive Impact Partners

Philip is the co-founder of ReVive Impact Partners, with a focus on investing both financial and intellectual capital in African businesses with a for-profit and for-purpose mission. His particular interest lies in the intersection of finance, technology and impact.

He is a trustee on a number of philanthropic trusts, including Feenix Trust a crowdfunding platform for tertiary education in South Africa; a non-executive director for Wafunda, a social enterprise for market-based education solutions; Tshwaranang Trust, enabling access to traditional bank finance for SMEs.

Philip's current focus is on building Paragon Impact, an impact measurement and grading technology, helping businesses better understand and measure their impact across the UN SDGs. He is also a Director for a group of businesses in the healthtech and edtech market, developing solutions for early childhood development.

Philip worked in the finance industry for 28 years, with time spent in stockbroking, derivatives trading, investment management, wealth management and private banking. Over the last 12 years, he has been involved in a number of impact and philanthropic initiatives, both as advisor and principal, increasingly spending time on innovation and advisory work in the philanthropic and impact investment market.
